Lessons are open to students of all ages and ability levels. Lessons are taught in a one on one environment. Parents are encouraged to be at the lessons of younger students and actively participate in his or her musical growth, EVEN IF the parent has no musical backround. |

|
Colleen Callahan received her Master of Music degree in vocal performance and her undergraduate degree in music education at the University of Connecticut. She attended the Aspen Summer Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado in the summer of 2004. She received Honorable Mention at the Amici Vocal Competition. She was a winner in the University of Connecticut 1999 Concerto Competition, and a semi-finalist in the Quinnipiac Young Artists Competition. Ms. Callahan has played the role of Rosine in UConn Opera's production of Pasetieri's Signor Deluso as Rosine. She also played the part of Hansel in UConn Opera's Outreach production of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel . Ms. Callahan has participated in UConn's Opera's productions of Offenbach's Les Contes des Hoffman, and Puccinis Suor Angelica . Ms. Callahan has also been a soloist in the Connecticut Chapter ACDA's Messiah Sing Concert. She was a frequent soloist with the University Festival Chorus and Concert Choir. She is a student of Constance Rock. |
